"We planned our wedding in Pensacola Beach from our apt. in NYC! Bliss was a lifesaver in our final month of planning, by taking a lot of things off our backs! She listened and really heard what we wanted, even if non-traditional, and recommended great vendors as well. Guests still talk about our cake! She gladly did all of my dirty work, like communicating with the restaurant people and the DJ, and making sure they did what we wanted them to do. On our special day, Bliss was great dealing with all of our guests and my crazy friends! She definitely was a big part of making our day the best!"

We got a great email today from a favorite MOB ("mother of the bride" OR "mother of bridezilla".. whichever each particular MOB wants to be known as : ) Here's what she wrote to another future MOB who asked her about working with Bliss (We had no idea she was writing this! so generous!)

Q: Have you had a good experience with Bliss?

A: "Yes, yes, yes!! As you can tell by my response, I am very pleased with the work that Lara and her staff have done for us. My daughter's wedding is not until April, so we haven't experienced the whole "big day" yet, but the gals from Bliss have been phenomenal in their attention to details, as we have been planning now for over a year. Lara has a unique ability to take your dreams and make them into reality. She has been a tremendous source of calm for us and has reassured us to the point that we are able to focus on and truly enjoy our duties, which are basically finding the wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, grooms attire, and such. The whole wedding dress thing was such a great time for [my daughter] and I, and it wasn't overshadowed by us needing to run around to do a million other things. This is really a perfect set-up for both [my daughter] and I, since we both work full time, and I travel frequently with my job, so being in town to do all these "planning" chores would not have been easy for us, plus we haven't had to endure the stress of it all either. It has been a very special time for both of us. I can tell you that investing in the work of the Bliss group has been well worth it for me. They have a tremendous ability to do their research and work and have so many contacts in so many locations across the country, that it has been a very big plus for us. "Our wedding was three weeks ago in North Carolina. We both live in Arlington so Bliss helped us plan our wedding from a long distance. In my opinion Bliss went above and beyond my wildest expectations. Lara and her team were accessible to me anytime during our 10-12 months working together and the promptness of their replies to my questions were practically real time. They have tons of resources to pull from and generously gave me options to choose from. Any wedding planning process is going to be challenging, but Lara made me feel comfortable throughout the whole thing -- I knew I could trust her to get the job done perfectly. I really enjoyed having Lara and her team handle all of the florals as well. That eliminated a vendor and really made the look of the day cohesive. Lara and her team also did a fantastic job dealing with my other wedding vendors. My caterer/rental company were challenging to deal with at times but Lara managed them with strong grace! Our wedding day was incredible. From the morning we started getting ready everything went smoothly to the moment I walked down the isle. I felt 100% relaxed and did not feel the need to have any sort of checklist going. Lara and the girls had it under control. Having Lara's assistant there was really beneficial with getting the guys ready/organized! I of course could not be in their area! I really felt so spoiled... I never wanted for ANYTHING throughout the day. Lara's crew are extremely professional and organized. I felt like I knew what was going on when and where, etc. The creativity at my reception was unreal. The comment from my friends that really describes it was: "Sara I knew you were really working hard to go all out but we didn't realize just how amazing it really was going to be" I had multiple people tell me it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. I had 3 couples tell me that they loved their wedding, but ours blew theirs out of the water. I do feel like I'm bragging to a complete stranger but I'm not the type to over embellish. I'm an extremely honest person and I mean it when I say this -- If you go with Lara and Bliss your wedding will be the most beautiful wedding you've ever been to. I promise you that. On your wedding day it will be important to be surrounded by kind-hearted and loving people. A wedding is about love obviously and the love and passion that Lara and the crew have for their work is beaming through. I loved being surrounded by them on our wedding day.
